Brainwash you while you’re sleeping

I thought I’d change things up and put the video at the beginning instead of trying to keep you guessing who it is. Video is courtesy of YouTube and I do not own the copyright in this, that would be Dark Horse and the estate of George Harrison.

Yesterday I took the daughters and grandchildren out for a meal at the Wheatsheaf Farms and this was the first time I had been there with my wife in a long time. They have added a carvery since the last time we went. If anyone lives in Newcastle upon Tyne, visits the city or is just passing through I can recommend the food. The carvery has a choice of 4 meats and there is enough veg to sink a ship. The food is ordered at the bar and paid for while ordering, they give you vouchers for the carvery and any other dishes will be delivered piping hot once ready.

The Wheatsheaf Farms is situated on the outskirts – on the way to the Airport and, if you are flying from Newcastle then it would be worth a visit on your way to or from the Airport.

Advert over, I have finished reading books 1-3 of the Sydney Rye mysteries and these books are really well written, I would recommend buying the box rather than the individual books as book 2 is quite short. I purchased these on iBooks from Apple and it didn’t take very long to read all 3 (over quite a long period of time reading maybe two chapters at a time it could have taken a few weeks). I found the characters believable, well worth spending time with and there were mysteries to solve. If this is your kind of thing too then go and buy the books on your desired ereader, you won’t be disappointed.

No spoilers from me so you will either have to ignore the brief plug or go out and buy these for yourself. I will be buying another box with books 4-6 included when I can to continue with the characters. If you are like me and enjoy reading books with strong female lead characters then you should read these.

Someone once said that you shouldn’t worry because:

You only have two things to worry about, either you are well or you are ill.

If you are well you have nothing to worry about.

If you are ill, you only have two things to worry about, either you will recover or you will die.

If you recover you have nothing to worry about.

If you die you have two things to worry about, either you will go to Heaven or you will end up in Hell.

If you go to Heaven you have nothing to worry about.

If you go to Hell you will meet up with all your friends you won’t have time to worry so why worry?

On that note I will leave you this Sunday morning my dear reader.
