Still new to this tech

Can anyone explain to me how to embed a video from you tube here? Do I have to download it first? If anyone can give me an idiots guide it would be appreciated.

I find it easier if I download the video to my computer first.
Yes! This is how I do it:
-Copy the link.
-Go to your WordPress post
-Click on ‘Add Media’
-One the left hand side it will say ‘Insert from URL’
-Click on it
-Paste the copied link
-Click on ‘Insert into post’

It’s OK. If one is not sure, why not ask? There’s nothing wrong with that. 😉
Some would say that questions with obvious answers are stupid questions, I think that it’s better to ask if you’re not sure rather than f**king things up.
It wasn’t a stupid question. Even I had to ask how to link a post in the beginning.
